This course is directed to studying fundamental concepts of materials structure, with the emphasis on crystals. The objectives of the course are understanding the fundamentals of electron microscopy and diffraction techniques, applying theoretical methods and software tools to analyze and interpret various types of microscopic and diffraction data.
