Courses
Our group offers two specialized graduate courses: Chemical Vapor Deposition and Thin Films/Surfaces Characterization. Overall, the students from our group are encouraged to take the following graduate level courses during their stay here:

1. Chemical Vapor Deposition (Offered by Prof. Mahendra Sunkara from the Chemical Engineering Department).
2. Materials Characterization (offered by Prof. Jacek Jasinski with our lab support at the Conn Center).
3. Computational ChE/Materials Science (offered by Univ. of KY via TV).
4. MEMS (offered by Prof. Kevin Walsh of ECE department).
5. Solid State Physics (offered by Prof. Sumanasakera from the Physics department).
6. Electro-analytical Chemistry (offered by Profs. Baldwin and Zamborini of Chemistry department).
7. Physical Electronics (offered by Prof. from Shamus McNamara from the ECE department).
8. Thin Films and Surfaces Characterization (offered by this group as a 2-month training with zero course credits - will be offered as a full-fledged lab course later).

Our chemical engineering graduate students are required to complete four core courses in addition to the above specialized courses: Chemical Engineering Analysis, Transport Phenomena, Advanced Reactor Engineering and Advanced Thermodynamics.
