From Aug. 2002 to summer 2004, I was in the Chem. Engi. Dept. at UofL as a graduate student and worked in the CVD lab. That experience is unforgettable for me and it will keep a good memory in my life.

My research during that time (also it’s my M.S. thesis) was to use electrochemistry method to detect and mitigate crevice corrosion. From that experience, I learned lots of book knowledge, computer skills and research methods, which will be benefit to my future career.

In this summer (2004), based on the interest in data analysis and biostatistics, I transferred to the Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics at UofL to study for another M.S. degree.

"I cherish the time in the group very much. It is my first study and work experience in America. That experience not only teaches me advanced knowledge but also encourages me to be a person with diligence and confidence."

Sincerely hope our group will be better and stronger, more and more excellent students or researchers would attend it and realize their dreams
